Irving Oil has kindly offered us tickets to a Sea Dogs game again this year. We have 50 tickets for the Sea Dogs Vs Halifax Home Opener on Thursday, September 21st. We currently have 38 people signed up. If you didn`t sign up on Wednesday but would still like to go or have a guest that would like to attend, please contact Capt A. Phinney. Tickets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. If you signed up but find out you can no longer attend, please let Capt Phinney know ASAP so we can find someone else to fill the spot. Dress for this event will be civilian clothing with the squadron t-shirt if you have one.
Paperwork – All cadets must return the paperwork to the admin officer (2Lt Kinney) ASAP. This includes enrollment forms, annual validation forms, and detailed health questionnaires. Cadets will not be permitted to attend events (gliding, field training, etc) if this paperwork has not been returned.
Fund raising – We have a bottle drive scheduled for the morning of Saturday 7 Oct 17. We need as many people with trucks as possible to help us out with collecting bottles. If you have a truck and are available to help us with this please let Capt Phinney know. The number of drivers will help us determine how many neighbourhoods we are able to visit.
Upcoming Events:
- – 23 Sep 17 – Gliding (mandatory training for all cadets)
- – 29 Sep – 1 Oct 17 – Field Training Exercise (mandatory training for all cadets)
- – 6-7 Oct 17 – Bottle Drive

Reminder: If a cadet cannot make it to a Wednesday night/regular event, the cadet should leave a message on the squadron answering machine 632-3215. Please do not e-mail Capt Phinney or post on facebook. This will ensure the admin o gets the message and can mark the cadet as excused.
