**Fundraising**

The best thing about joining 161 Air Cadets is that the program is FREE to Parents & Teens, However the training activities we do are not free. We do ask that Cadets & Parents help out with fundraising so we can do more with our cadets.

Right now our Sponsoring Committee is running a “Grand in your Hand” Raffle Draw.

Tickets are $10 each

Draw Date is 16-Apr-2025.

We ask that each cadet tries to sell 5 tickets. Cadets & Parents are welcome to sell more if they wish. The more money raised the more we can do with the cadets. If you need tickets please contact Chairperson Krista Feltmate at Krista.feltmate@161aircadets.ca

Some things fundraising has or will pay for are: Holiday Parties, Bowling, Swimming, Seadog Hockey Games, March Break Trips (hoping for 2026), Power Flying, Field Training Exercises (survival training weekends), Sports Gear, Band Equipment, Marksmanship & Biathlon Equipment, Model Building Equipment….and so much more!

Another Fundraiser we have year round is with FlipGive. This is an app where you can purchase digital giftcards and a percentage is paid to our unit. Download the FlipGive app on your phone and use code: FPTXTC to join our team Or visit the website & join at https://www.flipgive.com/c/315616
