Thank you to the senior cadets who organized and ran the Christmas party last night. Great work! Thanks to WO2 Reed for planning and organizing her Reading with Reed, community service activity at the library last weekend and to her assistants – WO2 Colwell, FSgt Luttrell, and FSgt Wallace. This event was a definite success.

This is our last weekly update for 2017. Thanks to everyone for helping make this year, our 75th anniversary, a success. I look forward to another great year in 2018. Take the holidays to relax as we take a break from squadron activities.

With all the fun last night we forgot to do our third 50/50 draw so we will make the next three draws in the first three weeks of January.

There will be no training over the break.

Biathlon Teams – If we happen to get lots of snow and are able to go skiing, one of the staff will give you a call about a time for that. We ski at Elmhurst Outdoors – 60 Ganong Road Erbs Cove (on the Kingston Peninsula).

– Saturday 6 Jan 18 – Ground School Training day for those writing the GPS or PPS exams
– Wednesday 10 Jan 18 – Lord Strathcona and Medal of Excellence Applications Due: More information at: https://161aircadets.ca/medal-applications/
