This is a day trip, cadets will return in the evening; we will post on the website when we leave Summerside with an estimate time of arrival. Gliding is an activity in which pilots fly unpowered aircraft known as gliders using a tow rope and an air plane or truck to pull the glider into the air like a kite. When the glider reaches a certain altitude the tow rope is released and using naturally occurring currents of rising air in the atmosphere to remain airborne.
We will be on a runway all day and do NOT have access to a store. Bring enough food & drinks for the day.
