Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday break. We are beginning to start up with a couple of activities happening this Friday. Next week we will resume our regular training.

Friday:
1:00 – 4:30 PM – Band practice at the armoury – don’t forget your music. If you are staying for the hockey game, you can bring your supper or bring money and eat later at the hockey game. We will be walking from the armoury to Harbour Station.

6:00 PM – Sea Dogs Hockey Game – We will be meeting at the front door of Harbour Station between 6:00 and 6:15 PM to distribute the tickets. Dress is civilian clothing. The following list of cadets/staff/friends have signed up. Please let us know ASAP if you are no longer available to go so we can find someone else to take your place. Thanks again to Mrs. Doiron and Irving Oil for providing the tickets!

Sunday:
NO TRAINING

Monday: 6:30 – 8:30 PM – Last ground school training session for those writing the flying scholarship exam (at Simonds)

Wednesday:
6:20 – 9:10 PM – Regular Training – Dress is t-shirt and tunic. ALL CADETS MUST BE WEARING THEIR PARKAS. Legion Medal of Excellence and Lord Strathcona Medal applications are due.

Reminder: If a cadet cannot make it to a Wednesday night/regular event, the cadet should leave a message on the squadron answering machine 632-3215. Please do not e-mail Capt Phinney or post on facebook. This will ensure the admin o gets the message and can mark the cadet as excused.
