Paperwork – All cadets must return the paperwork to the admin officer (2Lt Kinney) ASAP. This includes enrollment forms, annual validation forms, and detailed health questionnaires. Cadets will not be permitted to attend events (field training, etc) if this paperwork has not been returned.

Fund raising –

Tagging: We will be tagging (collecting money) at the local stores from 12-14 Oct 17. Each cadet is expected to do at least one shift. Cadets can sign up for more than one shift. Funds raised are tracked and an award is given to the top fund raiser each year. The current sign-up sheet is attached. The yellow highlighted spaces are still available. If you are a cadet and want to claim a spot now, let Capt Phinney know. If you are a parent and are able to help supervise your cadet, please let us know. We will be calling all cadets to fill the spaces before next week. If you are no longer available for your tagging spot please let up know. Tagging Schedule October 2017

Upcoming Events:

– 21 Oct 17 – NB/PEI Provincial Orienteering Competition (6 cadets who signed up: WO2 Reed, FSgt Wallace, Sgt Abujayyab, FCpl Buck, FCpl Lawless, Cpl Robicheau))

– 24 Oct 17 – Read with Reed – Community Service Literacy Outreach

Recruiting – this year we will again be running a “bring a friend” program. All cadets are encouraged to bring a friend who may be interested in joining cadets. If their friend joins and stays over three weeks the cadet who brought the friend will have their name entered into a draw for a prize.

Reminder: If a cadet cannot make it to a Wednesday night/regular event, the cadet should leave a message on the squadron answering machine 632-3215. Please do not e-mail Capt Phinney or post on facebook. This will ensure the admin o gets the message and can mark the cadet as excused.
