All AIR CADET LEAGUE TICKETS MUST be returned this week! Our sponsor has graciously offered to sell some tickets for us so if you have any unsold tickets at home, please bring them in on Friday evening (armoury).

Here is this week’s update:

Friday 23 Mar 18:
Drill Team: 6:00 – 7:00 PM at the armoury
Band: 7:00 – 9:30 PM at the armoury (Bring any red, yellow, or white bottle caps you may have)
Bring in any unsold League Tickets!

Saturday 24 Mar 18:
Steak and Stein Fund Raiser – Dinner and auction at the Saint John Marina. Dinner starts at 7:00 PM but aution items will be available for viewing starting at 6:30 PM. If you forgot to purchase your tickets/indicate you were coming, please let us know. This is an adult only event.

Sunday 25 Mar 18
Recreational Marksmanship, Biathlon, Model Building, RC Flying, Flight Simulation, and Band (Prop building): 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the armoury. All cadets are welcome to participate in marksmanship again.

Wednesday 28 Mar 18
CO’s Parade – Dress is shirt, tie, and tunic.
All CTC offers of participation “camp forms” must be signed and returned. All League Tickets must be returned (sold or unsold).

– Thus 29 Mar 18 – Band Practice (1:30 – 4:30 PM at the armoury)
– Wed 4 Apr 18 – Effective Speaking Competition (6:30 – 9:10 PM at Simonds High)
– Sat 14 Apr 18 – Band Training Day at Samuel de Champlain
– Sat 21 Apr 18 – Provincial Band and Drill Competition (Gagetown)

Duke of Edinburgh Award: We have found some sponsorship for participant of this program. Any cadets who are not yet participating in the program and are 14 years or older and are interested in participating in the program should see Capt Meunier. More information about the program can be found at:

Reminder: If a cadet cannot make it to a Wednesday night/regular event, the cadet should leave a message on the squadron answering machine 632-3215. Please do not e-mail Capt Phinney or post on facebook. This will ensure the admin o gets the message and can mark the cadet as excused.

Congratulations to our marksmanship team who placed first at the zone competition this past weekend and to FSgt MacIntyre, FCpl Hamilton-MacRae, and FCpl Eldridge who will be moving on to next stage of the effective speaking completion on April 4th.
