The Air Cadet League of Canada is a large organization that operates on three levels of governance: the National Organization, the Provincial Committees, and the Squadron Sponsoring Committees. All levels of the Air Cadet League of Canada assist the Department of National Defence (DND) in the administration of the Air Cadet training programs to up to 900 cadets in New Brunswick. The Air Cadet League of Canada provides a voice for the Canadian Air Cadet movement. It keeps the Canadian public aware of the capabilities of the movement, accomplishments, and ability to fulfill their aims.
The New Brunswick Provincial Committee is a diverse team of dedicated, unpaid volunteers who oversee 21 Squadron Sponsoring Committees via the provincial office.
The primary aims of the New Brunswick Provincial Committee include:
- The formation of new squadrons
- Assisting with the recruitment of Officers and Cadets
- Maintaining a fleet of tow planes and gliders, which are valued at over $600,000
