On Wednesday 17-Jan-2024 the cadets will be attending the Seadogs Hockey Game. There will be NO REGULAR TRAINING on 17-Jan-2024. Dress is Civillian Clothes. A Pop & A Popcorn will be provided to each cadet. Cadets are welcome to bring money for other purchases. All Cadets Attending the Hockey Game MUST SIGN UP as we have to purchase tickets this week. We currently have 19 Cadets signed up. If you want to attend and your name is not on the list below, please contact Capt J Hutchinson right away at julia.hutchinson@cadets.gc.ca. Cadets will NOT be able to sign up after Wednesday 10-Jan-2024.

On Wednesday 17-Jan-2024 We will be taking cadets to a seadogs game. Any Cadets wishing to attend the Hockey Game MUST SIGN UP before 7-Jan-2024 as we have to purchase tickets the week before the game. IF CADETS ARE NOT SIGNED UP THEY WILL BE SENT HOME.

Seadogs ticket includes admission to the game, a small popcorn and small pop. Cadets are welcome to purchase other items at their own expense.

Regualr Training will NOT be offered on Wednesday 17-Jan-2024

Seadogs Hockey Game

Any cadets interested in attending the Seadogs hockey game MUST SIGN UP NO LATER THAN 7-Jan-2024.

There is no regular training on Wednesday 17- Jan-2024 only the Seadogs game. More information to be announced.

We will be having a squadron sponsoring committee Meeting this Wednesday. Any parents who are interested in serving the squadron sponsoring committee may attend.

PARENTS: We are asking parents & guardians to make/provide a NUT FREE snack for the cadets. Rice Crispie Squares, Cookies, Dips, Fruit or Veggie Trays…Anything goes, as long as it is Nut Free.

We will provide drinks & gingerbread cookies.

Reminder: The Holiday Party is NO UNIFORMS – Holiday Attire is encouraged.

Dress: Civilian Clothes – Holiday attire encouraged (NO UNIFORMS)

Parents we are looking for some snacks for the Holiday Party. Chips, Dips, Desserts, Cookies…MUST BE NUT FREE! The staff are providing Drinks. Just our unit is attending, please plan for 45-50 people. Please contact Capt J Hutchinson at julia.hutchinson@cadets.gc.ca if you will be supplying a snack for the party. Thank you for your continued support!

Cadets are to arrive at the armouries no later than 1745hrs (Cadets must eat supper before boarding the bus) – WEEKEND ACTIVITY CADETS WILL BE STAYING OVER 2 NIGHTs IN ARGONAUT CADET SUMMER TRAINING CENTRE

Christmas Parade – Grand Bay-Westfield

Dress: FTUs with wedge – Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear a winter coat, Long johns under uniform if needed – bring gloves, & black or navy blue toques incase its cold

Drop off to Guardian Drugs at 1645hrs

Pick Up at River Valley Community Centre around 1930hrs – Parents can park at the rink and wait for the cadets there.

Our band will NOT be participating in the parade where most of them are at the band seminar

Sunday 10-Dec-2023

Band Seminar – Return Barrack Green Armoury (60 Broadview Ave) – between 1445-1530hrs – Our website will be updated with arrival times when the cadets leave Argonaut CTC.
