Sea Dogs Hockey Game:

Irving Oil has kindly offered us tickets to a Sea Dogs game again this year. We have 50 tickets for the Sea Dogs Vs Halifax Home Opener on Thursday, September 21st. Any cadets wishing to attend must sign up tomorrow evening (13 Sep 17). Cadets will have first priority but we need to fill all 50 seats so the invitation to attend is extended to family and friends of the cadets on a first come, first serve basis. Once we have all the cadets signed up we will confirm other guests.

Upcoming:

Don’t forget that tomorrow is regular training and this weekend we have two parades:

Saturday 16 Sep 17 – All cadets in the Greater Saint John Area will receive the Freedom of the City at a parade taking place in front of city hall. This is a special honour granted to military units. Cadets should arrive at the corner of King St and Germain St at 1:00 PM. The parade will start at 2:00 PM. Parents and the general public are welcome to attend the parade. There will be photos and a barbecue following the parade.

Sunday 17 Sep 17 – Our cadets will be attending the Battle of Britain parade honouring our veterans who served in the Battle of Britain during World War II. This parade takes place at the cenotaph at King’s Square. Cadets will meet outside the Admiral Beatty Complex at 1000 hrs. The parade will be finished by noon. Parents are asked to bring sweets, sandwiches, veggie, fruit, or cheese trays for the reception that follows the parade. These can be dropped off at the Admiral Beatty prior to the parade.
