I hope everyone had an excellent summer. We are now gearing up for another great training year. We are starting with some recruiting activities this week.

Saint John Exhibition:

This year we will again have a recruiting booth set up at the Saint John Exhibition. The booth will have some recruiting materials as well as two flight simulators (an interactive activity for the public). This will count for your community service hours! Our senior cadets have been calling to find people to fill the available times. We would like to have two cadets in every time spot so there are still 13 spaces available. If you or you know any other cadets who are able to sign up to fill the vacant spots listed below let Capt Phinney know or message the facebook page and we will add you to the list.
Dress for the event will be uniform (summer dress with dress shirt but cadets can wear tunics if it is cold).

First fund raiser of the year:

Saturday 2 Aug 17 – Kingston Farmer’s Market Breakfast

The cadets will be serving dinner at the breakfast as a fund raiser and we will need six cadets to assist. Cadets will meet at the farmer’s market and dress is uniform (summer dress but cadets can wear tunics if it is cold). If you are interested, let Capt Phinney or FSgt Colwell know to sign up. This counts towards your fund raising credits.

Our first training night back will be Wednesday, 6 September 2017. Dress will be summer dress (t-shirt for levels 1 to 3 and dress shirt for cadets in levels 4 and above). All cadets in levels four and five will be completing interviews for parade positions – more information will be handed out in the coming days. New cadets are welcome.
